Having not driven the V8 Discovery before I was very surprised at how well it performed and the if driven carefully it was not too thirsty. Obviously you will not get the same consumption figures as you would in the TDV6 but you get much more power and also a TDV6 would cost you a lot more money to buy in the first place.
